F: Family Favorite|Dog Friendly

The property is pretty and the bungalows (single wide pre manufactured homes) are in good shape, there is plenty of room for parking even with a small boat trailer, and the location being near KP Hole park is nice. The issue I had was the actual distance to the water, in the listing it says the property is just steps away from the water and shows pictures of KP Hole and the river. However it's about a 5-10 minute walk and you cannot see the water at all from the property. This wouldn't be so bad except for the price. You could spend about half the amount and rent an entire home in the same area and the only sacrifice is that you couldn't walk to the water/boat ramp. We went on labor day weekend and were able to get trailer parking easily both days and we didn't have to be at the boat ramp when it opened to accomplish that. It's just not as busy as the rest of the springs. As far as the bungalow we rented, it was comfortable and clean but the AC comes from the floor and there were no fans, it made it feel hot while sleeping since the cool air settles and the warm air rises. We had to go buy a fan so we wouldn't sweat the next two nights. The blinds were missing some of the slats so they let in light but that didn't much matter as they were basically only meant to provide privacy not keep the light out. At 3 AM it was so bright in the bedroom that you didn't need to turn on the lights to go to the bathroom. The neighbor left his porch light on all night the third night and we slept with our heads under the covers. The one TV was small. If you absolutely need to have the ability to walk to KP Hole park then it's a good option. I'll rent a house next time for half the money.

We throughly enjoyed our time there. There were 13 (plus 4 dogs)of us, 4 bungalows total. We spend much of our time on the river (5 minute walk), in the hammocks, by the campfire and on the porches. The bungalows were very clean and well-maintained, check in and out were super easy and the communications for questions were ALWAYS very quickly replied to. We would totally stay there again.

Absolutely loved our stay at Rainbow River Bungalows! The location is perfect, with just a short walk to the beautiful Rainbow River. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. We arrived a little earlier than expected, and they had no issue allowing us to check into our bungalow early, which was greatly appreciated. The bungalow itself felt like a home away from home—clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for our stay. It was cute, cozy, and very well maintained. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway near the river, I highly recommend Rainbow River Bungalows. We will definitely be back!

This was our first time renting a cabin/ bungalow. It was perfect for us to start learning to get away and relax. The bungalow had everything we needed as basics, that was so nice. I would definitely do this again and go to Rainbow River Bungalows. We brought our dogs and we were so grateful for that. Great experience.
