I’ve been following Rainbow River Bungalows on social media for a couple of years, and I have to say their posts gave a pretty accurate picture of what to expect. Overall, we had a very good experience. The bungalow was very clean, fairly well stocked with kitchen items to cook meals and have coffee in the morning, and had everything our family of four (two adults and two young kids) needed for our stay. I especially appreciated having a washer and dryer in the unit—it made traveling with kids so much easier. The air conditioner worked great, which was a welcome reprieve from the Florida heat and bugs after spending the day outside. The kayak and paddleboard rentals were wonderful, and the walk to KP Hole was easy and convenient. We stayed in the end unit, which had, in my opinion, the best porch on the property. There were also nice open grassy areas for the kids to play, and I loved that we could easily keep an eye on them right from the front porch. The fire pit area was great, and the grills were clean and in excellent condition, making it easy to enjoy meals and time outdoors. A few things to note for future guests: the water pressure in the shower wasn’t very good, and the pullout couch was not comfortable at all, so keep that in mind if someone plans to sleep there. I also found two roaches in the kitchen area during our stay. It was a little gross and seemed more like the type that come from areas behind appliances not being cleaned regularly rather than the occasional outdoor bug. That said, we’re in Florida, and unfortunately, seeing a bug here and there isn’t entirely unexpected. This is definitely not a luxury accommodation, but if you’re looking for a simple, clean, comfortable place with the essentials, family-friendly outdoor space, and great access to the river, Rainbow River Bungalows is a solid choice. We’d happily stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay, there is a lot to do around the area. In the pictures I had seen a little hamburger stand or something like that and when we got there, that was nowhere to be found otherwise great trip loved our bungalow N

The Rainbow River is beautiful and the bungalow was the perfect size. It was very clean and nice that we were able to bring our dog.

My wife & I have stayed at the Bungalows several times now. Rainbow River is our happy place 🤗🌈🌊 Kaliela, the property manager, has always been kind & looked after us. We call her & book directly thru her. It’s nice to actually talk to a human in such an automated world these days. We’ll see y’all again soon! ✌🏼❤️

This unit is at the end of the road and has one side which is all wooded and the other side next to another unit. It was fabulous. I spent hours outside watching to the birds. Even had a deer stop by at dusk one night. Very quiet and clean. Wonderful getaway.
